Name unknown, owned by Britta Jewell, won 1st Place English Pleasure at Gold Country 3-18-2001! In the performance division, first places got a bit mug filled with candy and second places got a glass filled with candy (as seen below) - both got NAN cards! Gives a whole new meaning to 'canter in a teacup', eh? I am told that the judge said she wouldn't mind owning this saddle set...
Here he is again, this time he won 3rd in the jumper/hunter class. Jump by Britta Jewell.
Name unknown, owned by Michelle Dodge, placed 2nd in the other english classat Gold Country 3-18-2001. I love this set on this horse!
Name unknown, owned by Marija Bernota, got 5th in the hunter/jumper classat Gold Country 3-18-2001, which was made up of mostly minis!
Houdini, owned by me, got 2nd place, NAN qualifying, in OF Western Games at Rockin' Reno 2001! I made his tack the day before and day of the show, and if I'd had more time would have make him a better barrel!

Mary Lynne Carpenter reports: "Thanks so much for the awesome mini parade set you made for my custom Morgan stallion back in November. The set with the stallion had its first show debut at the Great Lakes Congress show along with a parade flag and a mini rider I had painted to match the flag. In the mini division, they were the only parade entry and so took first and NAN qualified. Out of the entire mini other performance division, however, they took reserve champion of the division. I had many compliments on the set. Thanks so much!"

Then Megan, of Still Water Farms wrote in October 2001: "I purchased the parade set from Mary Lynne Carpenter (w/ her Morgan SM CM by Pope). He came w/ photos, NAN cards, and awards. I have not had a chance to show him live yet (I just got him this summer) but am planning to soon. I have won several photo show championships w/ your costume and have had a couple people ask me to buy it"

Top pic: Glory March, Megan's paso resin in parade costume: "I've had nothing but positive comments come from this photo"!
Bottom pic:RIGHT: Justin The Nick Of Time, Megan's morgan in his american parade cosume. The model/set up that has NANed twice!

Duana (left) placed 5/24 and Serengeti (right) placed 6/24 in CM Western Pleasure at the California Dreamin' Of Christmas Live Show, Nov 17 & 18, 2001.

Duana won 5/18 in CM trail at the California Dreamin' Of Christmas Live Show, Nov 17 & 18, 2001. Set-up made by me, too.
Electric Avenue zipping around a barrel, got 6th place out of about 12 at the California Dreamin' Of Christmas Live Show, Nov 17 & 18, 2001.

The two top places in English Pleasure: my Serengeti got 2nd/14 (NAN qualified!) and my friend Mickey Sullivan's horse, Dressed to Kill, got 1st place, at the California Dreamin' Of Christmas Live Show, Nov 17 & 18, 2001. That horse and set-up won CM/AR Huntseat Pleasure Stock Type Champion at NAN 2001. He's customized by Mickey with help from Fay Cohen, and she painted the resin rider, too.
Serengeti got 4th/8or10 in English Trail at the California Dreamin' Of Christmas Live Show, Nov 17 & 18, 2001. At the last minute I used Duana's items from trail set up for this guy and he got a 4th!
Cassie wrote: "Hi! I wanted to let you know that my TooCass resin NAN Q'd...last weekend in the AWESOME western set you created!"
Amanda Murphy of Oregon wrote: "On Sat. Oct. 27th [2001] my SM resin "Triscuit" (D's Miss Scarlett) won 1st Eng. Pleasure and 2nd English Trail...Thank you Cindy for doing such a GREAT job on my saddle."
Michele Dodge wrote that November 3, 2001: "I went to Victorian Village Live ... and my little Rakkas w/ your mini western saddle won the Western Pleasure mini performance class, the Other Western Performance mini class (in a trail class), and was reserve champion mini performance (with the trail set up)! ...the mini classes were big and competitive! The dressage set got a 3rd ... because I didn't have the actual dressage test.
I sent in some tack to the tack challenge again this year in the Carolina All-Mini Show, October 29, 2001. Though the show was bigger, the amount of tack entered in the challenge was smaller. Here's how I did:
1st place English Saddle (mine was the only one entered!)
1st place Western Saddle (again, mine was the only one entered!)
1st place Headstall with my western bridle (4 entries)
1st place Micro Mini Challenge with my dressage set on an OF MM that I donated to the show
